keaton’s kindness foundation!

Keaton’s Kindness Foundation (K - Club), is a foundation started by 7 year old, Keaton Barrón. Keaton was battling leukemia and created this kindness club, all from his hospital bed. In order to join the club you had to donate $1 or whatever you could afford, but when the word got out, Keaton was receiving much more. He decided to pay for a well in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, bought part of a cow through Heifer International, purchased balloons for other patients on his floor in the hospital, provided gift cards for families with patients in the PICU, and provided treats for the nurses. Unfortunately, Keaton lost his battle to cancer on May 11, 2018, but his legacy continues everyday through his friends and family.

With the help of Santa Fe and Double Wolf Dare Week, we will be able to fund a brand new Comfort Care Room — a place of refuge for families whose children may not make it out of the hospital. This room will give families a secure space to those final, irreplaceable moments with their child. The Comfort Care Room will be used for countless families for so many years to come!
